The ECW is dedicated to serving God through fellowship and mission. At St. Peter’s a woman is automatically part of ECW. There are opportunities to participate by attending our meetings on the first Wednesday of each month, as well helping with churchwide ministries like funeral receptions, financial assistance program, stamp ministry and backpack buddies. We also join together for a spring luncheon, and celebrate our distinguished senior ladies at our Christmas tea.

The ECW has its roots and identity in ministry by and for women. However, the ECW at St. Peter's is welcoming and inclusive, and invites others to join their activities and ministries, especially when special presenters are brought in. The more the merrier!
A great time was had by all at the November 30 Advent wreath workshop hosted by ECW and led by Helen Dixon.

Soup Sale on October 19 was very successful. 91 quarts of homemade soup were sold and $910 was raised to be divided Between our BackPack Buddy ministry and the Episcopal Church Periodical Club which sends free theological and educational materials around the world.

Our spring fundraiser was an enormous success. Many members of the parish enjoyed an evening full of food, drinks and social interactions. It was a lot of fun and we exceeded our fundraising expectations. We are now able to financially support numerous community non-profits like Eagle’s Wings Food Pantry, BackPack Buddies, Open Door Women’s Shelter, Zion Soup Kitchen, Episcopal Farmworkers Ministry, plus we hope to reach out to more ministries.
