The Pastoral Care Team focuses on reaching out to the sick, the bereaved, and the homebound. These ministries may include the Intercessory Prayer Team, Funeral Receptions, Angel Food Ministry (food after illness/crisis), and Homebound Ministry.
The Outreach Team helps those in need, both physically and spiritually. Ministries include but are not limited to: Financial Assistance Program, Toys for Tots, Back Pack Buddies, Red Cross Blood Drive and Christmas Season projects. We also manage a Blessing Box which offers free food to those in our community.
The Parish Life Team promotes and nurtures our communal church family life. It helps build stronger internal relationships and fosters members' sense of belonging and fellowship. Ministries and activities of this team include, but are not limited to, hosting receptions, parish picnics, pancake suppers, Lenten suppers, Sunday Coffee & Snacks, Newcomers Luncheon, etc.
The Stewardship Team plans and carries out the annual Stewardship program, establishes memorial funds, and engages in long-range financial planning for the health and longevity of the parish. This team works alongside the Finance Committee or treasurer to develop an annual budget. The Endowment Committee supervises planned long-term giving.
The Worship Team works with the rector to ensure that parishioners experience a comforting and meaningful Holy Eucharist celebration on Sunday mornings, Wednesday mornings, and other feast days of the Church. Ministries in this team include Altar Guild, Lay Readers, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, Acolytes, Music, Nursery, and Flower Guild.
The Christian Education Team provides guidance and oversight for developing and implementing programs for Christian Education in the parish. Responsibilities include Adult and Youth Sunday School, Lenten Programs, and unique offerings such as Sacred Ground, our anti-racism training.
The Communications Team ensures clear, timely, and relevant information is available to members and the wider community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing social media accounts, website maintenance and development, and e-mail communications such as newsletters and special announcements.
The Newcomers Team works to ensure that visitors and new members are warmly welcomed and are offered opportunities to engage in parish activities as early as possible.
The Spanish Language Team serves as a bridge between our Spanish-speaking members and our English-speaking members. This team promotes activities that strengthen the relationship between the communities and ensures that all members, regardless of language, have equal opportunities for worship and spiritual growth.
